Volleyball ace Emma Clarkson has been chosen to fly out to Africa and teach her sport to children in Zambia.

C Emma (19), of Carluke, who has two caps for Scotland international women’s indoor volleyball team, is one of only five Stirling University PE students picked for the Ideals Project trip running from June 3 to July 12.

She said: “I was really chuffed that the selectors were impressed enough by an interview I gave at the uni to pick me for this.
