Dougie Imrie joins Hamilton Accies
EX-Lanark United ace Dougie Imrie booked a dream return to the SPL on Monday night, when he signed for top flight outfit Hamilton Accies from first division side Inverness Caley.
It was third time lucky for Accies, having tried to buy 26-year-old Imrie — who formerly played amateur football for Lanark Thistle and Symington Tinto — in the previous two transfer windows.
Accies secretary Scott Struthers said: "We are very pleased to finally sign Dougie and he is pleased to be here."
