C WEARING a T-shirt with the famous Road Runner cartoon character emblazened on the back, it is fitting that Carnwath eight-ball pool ace Lee Creighton whizzed through the frames to win a top event in Falkirk.

Lee (13), of Woodside Avenue, West End, ‘Beep Beeped’ his way past four opponents to triumph in the under-16 category at Camelon’s Corner Pocket club.

His delighted grandpa told the Gazette: “To get his first win at such a young age is excellent, especially when you consider he only started playing on the Scottish Tour last year.

“Lee doesn’t know how good he is. He could be a British or World pool champ of the future.”
