KICKBOXING sisters Amy-Leigh and Abbey-Leigh McInnes, of Law, were both gold medallists when fighting for Scotland at the recent World Championships in Valkenburg, Holland.

The super siblings, aged 16 and 12 respectively, sent the Scottish fans into raptures with Abbey winning the continuous and points -30kg titles and Amy landing the -50kg continuous.

“I was delighted with the girls’ efforts,” said their dad Mark, who attended the championships with his partner Sandy Kerr.
