LAW kayak ace Nathan Low has just completed an action-packed campaign of flat water sprint action.
This included the 16-year-old, of Griffiths Way, winning three silver and two bronze medals at the British Championships in Nottingham last month.
His mum Karen said: “Nathan took up kayaking quite by accident six years ago as his name had been on a waiting list for canoeing at Strathclyde Park which had been delayed time after time.
“We’ve been on a perpetual rollercoaster ride ever since.”
Nathan’s silvers were in the K2 200m, 500m and 1000m K4 (Quad), with his bronzes in the 200m K1 (Single) and 1000m K2 (Double).
