LAW kayak kid Nathan Low made waves for Team GB at the Piestany International Regatta in Slovakia.
Nathan (16), of Griffiths Way, was part of the British pair which finished second in both the K2 500m and 200m competitions.
In an eventful trip for Nathan, he also had to sit his National 5 Geography exam under strict Scottish Qualifications Authority guidelines.
His mum Karen said: “It was hard for Nathan to concentrate on kayaking and do exams on the same trip. He did very well.
“We watched a live stream of his races on the internet and they were amazing to see.”
Karen thanks Carluke High head teacher Andy Smith for the exam venue switch.
