FORTH Wanderers hope that new signing Christopher Dick will add more bite to their midfield.

Wanderers secretary Jim Kelly said: “We’ve signed Christopher from Newmains and he’ll bring a bit of steel which we’ve not had in recent times.

“He impressed when playing against us in two league games last season.”

Jim reported that “most” of last season’s squad had signed up for the 2014-2015 campaign.

He said that utility man Martin Harty – who has been training with the club – has now signed a permanent contract.

Forth manager Chris McGroarty is trying to sign a new keeper after JC Hutchison’s transfer to Rutherglen Glencairn.
