Forth Wanderers manager Jamie McKenzie offered to resign in the immediate aftermath of Saturday’s 8-2 home humbling by Cambuslang Rangers.

Jamie was dismayed at how his troops seemed to throw in the towel in the second half of the Central Division 1 clash and decided enough was enough.

But his offer to quit just after the final whistle was rejected by the Wanderers committee and he remains in charge for this Saturday’s crucial game at Bellshill Athletic with Forth bottom of Central Division 1 after suffering five losses out of five.
