TALENTED young Carnwath driver Linzi Henderson has just wrapped up a “fantastic” campaign in the ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship.

The 18-year-old hairdresser, of Carlindean Farm, ended her first year in forest rallying by finishing third in the highly-competitive 1400cc class, having already bagged the Scottish Ladies’ title.

Linzi, the daughter of local farmer Walter, himself a noted rally driver, said: “After competing in the Scottish tarmac series last year, all I wanted when I switched to gravel was to finish a rally; it didn’t matter whether I was last.
