CARLUKE Rovers chairman Malky Black fears his club could go out of business due to the “astronomical” costs of renting John Cumming Stadium.
Malky said that the current annual rental fee of £11,145 was “unsustainable” and Rovers faced the nightmare prospect of folding ‘within a few seasons’.
“Carluke Rovers is a large part of the community which has been there for 127 years,” the fedora-wearing supremo added. “It would be sad if the club ceased to be.”
