Carluke Rovers will face Lesmahagow on Monday night in the final of the Clydesdale Cup.
Carluke’s season began with a seven goal thriller as they edged out Lanark United 4-3.
Lesmahagow had a more routine win defeating Forth Wanderers 4-1 on Tuesday evening.
Victorious Carluke manager Colin Slater was pleased to get the victory.
“It was a very entertaining game for the crowd,” said Colin.
“We showed a bit of character to keep going, having lost goals when we were in front.
“We want to keep the Clydesdale Cup in Carluke and it was good for some of the new boys to get a run-out as well.
“Lanark are in the same situation as ourselves as they had players off on holiday but it’s always good to get a win over your local rivals.”
The Clydesdale Cup Final will take place at the John Cumming Stadium on Monday evening. Kick-off is at 8pm.
