BIGGAR Rugby Club are in the relegation zone after last Saturday’s 14-7 home defeat to GHA in BT National League Division 1.

The Hartreemill men are second bottom of the table with 29 points from 17 matches – leaving them four points adrift of third bottom Marr.

Biggar opened into the elements in breezy conditions against second top GHA, and soon found themselves in defence. GHA scored after 15 minutes when Ranji Jericevich ran to go over for a try converted by Andrew Goudie.
