CARLUKE football ace Ali Crawford made history on Sunday as he scored in Hamilton Accies’ first win at Celtic Park for 76 years.
Ali (23) stunned the 42,000 crowd by netting a 49th minute strike which incredibly put the newly-promoted Lanarkshire outfit top of the Scottish Premiership table with a well-deserved 1-0 victory.
“Scoring the winner at Parkhead was an amazing feeling,” Ali said.
“It was something that I’d dreamed about as a kid.
“For us to be the first Accies team to win at Celtic Park since 1938 is a remarkable feat. We have just carried on from where we left off last season when we were promoted through the play-offs.
“I would be disappointed now if we didn’t finish in the top six.”
