Over 100 young people from South Lanarkshire received certificates for their community work at the Millennium Volunteer awards.
This was the sixth MV Awards held in South Lanarkshire and the first organised by Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire (VASLan).
VASLan chair Ian Barcroft told the gathering that so far 197 young people had received certificates, and the latest ceremony was to recognise 112 youngsters who gave up their time to help others.
“The young people who are receiving these awards today should be very proud of their achievements,” said Ian.
