Between March 18 and March 21 an excavator bucket was stolen from an excavator, near to Johnshill Farm Lesmahagow.

“The buckets are of significant value, and this is not an isolated incident,” said a police spokesman.

“Consideration should be given to safe storage of all plant and garden machinery.”

And about 1am on March 18 a Fiat motorhome was stolen from a house on Broompark Drive, Lesmahagow.

Then between 6.30pm on March 23 and 5am on March 24, a white Ford transit motor vehicle was stolen from an address in Lampits Road Carstairs. Witnesses are sought.
