IT’S been another busy week in Clydesdale and the Gazette has been there very step of the way.
In Lanark a woman has been hospitalised and three other people subjected to attacks on them by swans at Lanark Loch while in Carluke the town is busy preparing for this weekend’s Jam and Ham Festival.
Clydesdale will be home to yet another huge windfarm as the government approved plans for the highest turbines on the UK mainland, near Crawfordjohn and despite fierce opposition from local residents to the proposed Hill Rig Windfarm, the vast majority of mail sent to South Lanarkshire Council on the controversial plan has supported it.
We also have plenty of pictures from the official opening of Bent Primary School in Boghead and the Healthy Valleys organised Walk the Commonwealth event at Lanark Loch.
Plus all your latest news from Lanark Sheriff Court, a full entertainment guide plus all the news from your part of Clydesdale.
It’s all in this week’s Gazette, priced at 80p.
