NHS Lanarkshire has had a “fantastic” response to its homoeopathy consultation.
The consultation asked for views on whether NHS Lanarkshire should continue to use services provided by the Centre for Integrative Care (CIC, formerly known as the Glasgow Homoeopathic Hospital).
The Board is delighted with the response to the consultation, which ran from January to April.
The submissions received will be included in a report submitted to the Board in the autumn, along with other evidence collected over an 18-month review period, to help the Board make a decision.
NHS Lanarkshire director for public health Dr Harpreet Kohli, who chairs the group overseeing the consultation, said: “I would like to thank all those who took part in the consultation and, indeed, the entire review process as their submissions have been greatly appreciated and will help inform the final report.”
