MUSIC in Lanark has its September concert tonight (Saturday) at 7.45pm when it hosts the Pomegranate Piano Trio at the New Lanark Institute.
Fenella Barton, Rebecca Hepplewhite and Simon Callaghan all have international playing experience, and the audience can expect to be enthralled by the programme they have put together.
That consists of Mozart Piano Trio in B flat K 502, Faure‘s Piano Trio in D minor Op 120 and Brahms Piano Trio in B major Op 8.
Last month Music in Lanark staged a wonderful concert of a cappella singing from Apollo 5 at The Institute, in New Lanark, and this month’s concert promises to be every bit as captivating .
Individual concert tickets (£12.50, £1 school age) can be purchased in person or by phone (01555 667999) from Lanark Memorial Hall Box Office and they are also available at the door.
Even better, music lovers can still buy a ‘Series Ticket’ which provides entry to all this season’s concerts for just £75 via the organisation’s website www.musicinlanark.co.uk
The Lanark Series Ticket also includes a 50 per cent discount on Biggar Music concerts, which makes it even more of a bargain for Clydesdale music lovers.
And those who attended last month’s concert can still buy a ‘Series Ticket’ and have the price of their ticket for the August concert refunded.
