BRAIDWOOD’S Sinead McQuade received a silver crown emblazoned with sparkling crystals after winning Miss Beauty Queen Scotland.
Sinead (22) defeated 20 rivals at the prestigious 4½ hour pageant, held in Glasgow’s Marriott Hotel on Sunday, December 8.
“It means the world to me to have won,” Sinead said.
“I turned 22 just three days after the competition, so it was a big thing for me to achieve when I was still 21.
“It was great receiving the large champion’s crown, which was bigger than my face. It was the best birthday and Christmas present I could ever have.”
