Three hour parking limit for Bernard’s Wynd car park in Lanark

THERE is to be a major crackdown on Lanark’s `selfish’ all-day parkers.

Steps are underway to slap a three hour maximum parking time limit on the town centre’s main public car park in Bernard’s Wynd.

This will bring it into line with the area’s other two major car parks, at Tesco and at Lidl’s, which have already imposed similar time limits on its customers and even, in Tesco’s case, employees.
