Shine Youth Theatre, Carluke, presents Cats 2012 Slideshow

Waiting for Video...

MEMBERS of Carluke’s Shine Youth Theatre have completed their latest fantastic production, Cats.

The musical, which was staged at Motherwell Concert Hall, had the feel of a night out in London’s West End.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by TS Eliot, told the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles.

There was a large ensemble cast including Amy Allan as Grizabella, the glamour cat, Cameron Small as Rum Tum Tigger and Nicola McCafferty as Victoria. Other top performers included Laurence Sharkey as Munkustrap, Lauren Holt as Mr Mistoffelees and David Robertson as Old Deuteronomy.

The pictures featured in our slideshow, by Gazette photographer Lindsay Addison, can be purchased on this website or from our offices in Carluke and Lanark on 01555 772802 or 678792.
