Rural at heart...Provost Logan

Rural at heart...Provost Logan

THIS year’s South lanarkshire Rural Communities Conference will be held in Carluke later this month.

Now in its 13th year, the conference aims to set out a new rural strategy for the next few years as well as dealing with other rural matters and showcasing some of the projects supported through the current LEADER programme for rural development.

South Lanarkshire Provost Eileen Logan said: “The conference goes from strength to strength each year and offers an opportunity for people with the rural community at their heart to share and discuss their ideas.”
