Refurbishment needed...for Moor Park equipment

CARLUKE families can look forward to new equipment being installed in the town’s Moor Park – with hopefully more to come in the future.

Over the next few months South Lanarkshire Council will be installing new swings and the local authority is in the process of sourcing materials to re-build the kids’ roundabout which has seen better days.

In addition, hopes are high that more funding will be sourced and that the park, popular with many youngsters in the town, will be improved even further.

Carluke councillor and South Lanarkshire Provost Eileen Logan confirmed to the Gazette this week that the work would begin soon.
