New Biggar bus service notches up 47 complaints

A TRANSPORT campaigner claims that users of the No. 100 bus service through Biggar have made a whopping FORTY-SEVEN complaints about it in just four weeks.

Janet Moxley, of Stand Up For Our Buses (SUFOB), hit out at transport authority SPT, which awarded the 100 service to Stagecoach on November 30 due to alleged breaches of service contract by former operator MacEwans.

Janet said: “This catalogue of failure makes SPT’s claims in the December 5 Gazette that the 100 service is running reliably seem somewhat laughable,
