Lanark photographer's dog in the limelight

WE'RE used to photographers dogging celebrities at shows and in public places.

But in Lanark a photographer's celebrity dog in a public house takes centre stage!

Nigel Young's hobby is digitally creating images, usually with his own terrier James in the starring role.

And an open-ended exhibition of his work is now being staged in Lanark's Clydesdale Inn Wetherspoon's branch.

Nigel, who mostly takes very professional wedding photos, goes under the artist's title of N.Y.P.D.Scotland.

"I really just do it for laughs but, because a lot lf folk said they liked them, I decided to put on an exhibition at the Clydesdale Inn," said Nigel.
