PLANS have been drawn up for the launch of an exciting new event celebrating Carluke’s rich tradition of jam-making.

Local man Thom Cross, of Market Place, is proposing to stage activities as part of an indoor Carluke Jam Festival over three days this winter.

He outlined his idea in an email to Carluke Community Council chairman Alistair Mackie.
