Hillwalkers aim to complete Everest-Tinto Challenge

AN early 1990s hit from The Shamen proclaimed that you could Move Any Mountain – but what about bringing Mount Everest to Clydesdale?

That’s exactly what a hardy band of hillwalkers is aiming to do, by completing the Everest-Tinto Challenge.

The event on September 1 and September 2 will see a team of hillwalkers walking up and down Tinto Hill seven and a half times – the equivalent of hiking to the top of Mount Everest from base-camp.
