BREAKFAST is the most important meal of the day and Coulter Primary pupils and their parents enjoyed a very special one in school recently.
The school organised a Fairtrade Breakfast and invited parents to go along and tuck in.
Coulter Primary principal teacher Amanda Williams said: “This year’s Fairtrade theme was bananas so the children enjoyed some banana smoothies and banana on their cereal.
“A lot of the parents enjoyed some Fairtrade tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
“In class the children have been learning all about Fairtrade and how important it is.”
The school would like to thank the local Co-op and Sainsbury’s for their donations towards the Fairtrade Breakfast.
