Clydesdale's Top 100 Greatest Citizens

YOUR Carluke and Lanark Gazette carried a pull-out supplement, FREE of charge with the paper last week.

The Top 100 Greatest Clydesdale Citizens was a list of the people we felt were the most remarkable in our area's long history.

And what a mixed bag we came up with! It was a roster of the good, the bad and, yes, even the ugly from Clydesdale from the past thousand years or more!

Of course, no two readers agreed with the entire content of the Top 100!

And we've received letters and emails ever since, informing us of people our readers think should have been included (see this week's letters section).

If you missed the supplement, copies of last week's paper containing the Top 100 are still available from our offices in Lanark and Carluke, priced just 48p.
