GAZETTE reader Heather Docker is astonished that the Biggar bus for Edinburgh now leaves at 8.58am instead of 8.45am.

Heather feels this change to the Dumfries/Biggar/Edinburgh route is “absolutely incredible” as local children will now no longer be able to use this bus to get to school as it will arrive too late.

Heather said that the majority of Biggar commuters using this service start their work in Edinburgh at or before 10am – meaning they will no longer be able to use this service given the bus will now not get to Lothian Road (where most get off) until around 10.10am.
