A LEUKAEMIA sufferer will push his body to the limit next year on a marathon cycle from Glasgow to Malaga in Spain.

Hugh Forgie, who lives in Abington and has suffered with leukaemia for the past 12 years, will attempt to raise thousands of pounds for the Paul O’Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre, based at the Beatson in Glasgow.

He aims to achieve that by cycling more than 1,300 miles in 11 days, accompanied by his wife, Margaret.
