When it comes to performing that annual phenomenon – pantomime - Lanark Panto Club know how to do it, wth their 55th annual performance ready to hit the stage at Lanark Memorial Hall this Thursday.

This year sees the return of the family favourite, “Babes in the Wood”, with babes played by Kate Tritchler and Ruardih Whitehead. The story is the traditional tale of the Outlaw Robin Hood (Lucy Walker).

The Evil Sheriff (Jayden Rolls) is setting him up to be accused of the murder of the Babes, but have they been murdered? Will anyone save the day?

With songs from the recent charts, golden oldies, musicals the lot, and plenty of entertainment from the chorus and dancers, there is something for everyone!

So, whether you are nine or ninety, Babes in the Wood is the show for all the young at heart! Oh yes, it is!
