A Clydesdale business is the first to be formally recognised by South Lanarkshire Council’s Buy With Confidence scheme.
DF Trade Services in Lanark is one of the first in Scotland to receive accreditation under the scheme.
Councillor Hamish Stewart, chair of the community services committee, visited the business to congratulate staff on their ‘first’ for the area.
Designed to eliminate the cowboys and promote fair trading practices, Buy With Confidence is the largest such scheme for local authorities in the UK, with up to 60 councils now members.
