LANARK High Street was certainly THE place to be on Saturday, with entertainment running for the whole day.
There were live performances of music as part of the Christmas Market atmosphere, then from early afternoon South Lanarkshire Council’s entertainment programme unfolded.
The council entertainment was presented on a lorry stage at the town’s Cross.
Real Radio’s Paul Harper hosted a mixture of music and prize competitions to keep the crowd entertained.
There was also a Christmas Chartbusters Review Show featuring popular festive hits, before Santa Claus and Lanimer Queen Erin Snow switched on the town’s lights.
Gazette photographer Lindsay Addison was on hand to capture the magic of the day and his pictures are featured here in our slideshow.
