GET out and get active – that was the message to Clydesdale’s senior citizens at a successful event at Carluke Leisure Centre.
The Big Event mini roadshow offered free activity taster sessions and health checks to encourage older people to get out of their armchairs and into exercising!
Activities included curling, bowling, Zumba and arts and crafts.
Big Event project manager Christine Calder said: “The roadshow is a great way to meet people and try to get people who are retired out and about and enjoying their lives.”
