FORMER pupils of Libberton Primary relived their childhood thanks to an open day at the school to celebrate its centenary.

Current pupils guided ex-pupils, teachers and parents around the school and there was plenty of tea, coffee and home-baking to help fuel the reminiscing.

Primary one to three teacher Margaret Brunton said: “Two people who attended the school in the 1930s had a wonderful time reliving their school days.

“It was great to see so many people here having a good time.”

An Australian couple whose parents attended Libberton Primary also took time out to tour the school.
