The pupils of Carstairs Primary School worked extremely hard to ensure that parents and friends of the school got into the Christmas spirit on Thursday, December 10.

Base 1, 2 and 3 pupils opened the show with some lovely carol singing and Base 4 and 5 dazzled the audience with their version of the panto ‘Aladdin’.

The great achievements of pupils and staff were complemented beautifully by the work of the school’s hard-working Parent Council who ran special stalls, teas, coffees and treats for all the visitors who came to the festive event.

The fantastic effort and brilliant team work from all helped raise more than£2,000 for the school.

Head teacher Angela Sneddon wishes to thank all pupils, staff and parents for their amazing work and wish a very merry Christmas to all families and members of Carstairs Primary School community.
