AN event is being held in Carluke later this month aimed at tackling the problem of domestic violence.
Throughout Europe between November 25 and December 10, local authority areas and partners in support services will be observing 16 days of action, highlighting the issues around domestic violence and the assistance available to those affected by such incidents.
In support of this Clydesdale Police will host an event in Carluke Leisure Centre on November 18 from 10am to 1pm.
Police Scotland Lanarkshire Division Officers will be deployed throughout the area enforcing bail conditions and ensuring the welfare of victims.
