Police are looking for witnesses to three incidents in Clydesdale this week.

In the most sinister, about 3.45am on Friday, two males were recorded on CCTV checking door handles at an address on Castleknowe Gardens, Carluke.

The police would like to hear from anyone with information on that.

About 8.15pm on Sunday, May 1, people made off in a black vehicle similar to a Vauxhall Corsa, while attempting to break in to a shed at Letham Farm, Lesmahagow.

And between Tuesday April 26 and Thursday April 28 two wheelie bins were stolen from addresses in Unitas Crescent Carluke.

Witnesses to any of these are urged to contact Police Scotland 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 in confidence.
