SHARP humour and fantastic songs are the order of the day in Babes In The Wood, a pantomime being staged this weekend by Lesmahagow group Class Act.
Babes In The Wood, directed by Heather Court, is being staged at Lesmahagow’s Milton Primary School from 7.30pm this Friday and Saturday, December 13 and 14.
The show is set in the fictional English city of Rottingham, which King John leaves to go and fight in a war. The city’s children are left with his brother, the Sheriff of Rottingham.
He is backed by comedy duo Block and Gackle (played by Julie Gardner and Karen Muir respectively).
Class Act’s annual pantomimes have been popular with Lesmahagow audiences since the group was founded in 2000.
Doors open at 7pm on both nights this weekend. Call Margot on 01555 893632 to book tickets for £5 each.
