IT was second time lucky for Carluke woman Laura Murray-Darroch as she successfully completed a skydive to raise money for a Motor Neurone Disease charity.
Laura (31) had been due to jump 10,000 feet in August but, because of high winds, the jump had to be postponed.
However, she was back four weeks later to complete the jump as her family looked on.
Bank worker Laura said: “It was disappointing not to be able to do it in August but once I got up there this time around I didn’t have any nerves.
“My son Blair, mum Margaret and gran Margaret were all there and there were 10 of us who were jumping so it was a really good atmosphere; we were there for most of the day.
Laura was raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association in tribute to dad Allan who lived with the debilitating condition for a remarkable 30 years before his death in January 2013.
