YOU would normally associate former SPL Executive Chairman Lex Gold with football rather than running - but that is all about to change.

Lex (71), who lives in Braidwood, has been chosen to complete a leg of carrying the Olympic Torch as it makes its way through the country on the way to the upcoming Olympic Games in London.

Lex will be in Falkirk on June 13 to carry the Torch.
