Abington Show organisers declared this year’s event a huge success following a fantastic day on Saturday.
The 2011 show was the first to be opened up to entrants from outside the traditional Parish boundaries and that decision increased entries and the crowd at the showfield.
Abington Show president Malcolm Coubrough said: “It was a fantastic show for everyone concerned. This was the first show in which there was an open entry and it certainly made a big difference.”
