AILEEN Campbell, SNP MSP for South of Scotland, stopped by the launch of a new guide to the food and drink of the Clyde Valley during a visit to the Royal Highland Show on Friday.

The guide 'EAT – food and drink in the Clyde Valley' – was launched by Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs Richard Lochhead, and supported by a range of local producers who had brought along samples of their products for the crowds to try.

The event at the Royal Highland Show follows a similar event recently in the South Lanarkshire Council Headquarters in Hamilton, which Aileen also attended.
