THE Saturday sandwiched in between Hallowe’en and Bonfire Night is always going to be busy - and this year is no exception.
However, before the fun this evening there are a number of events happening throughout the day in Clydesdale.
The Scottish SPCA is hosting a table top sale in Lanark’s Tolbooth from 10am while over in Carnwath the school is holding its Christmas Market starting from noon.
Biggar & District Oxfam Group host a coffee morning in the Gillespie Centre from 10am while Carluke Guide Hall is the venue for the Friends of Guiding Soup and Sweet from 11.30am.
In the evening there are Hallowe’en parties at Castlehill Bowling Club in Carluke and Douglas Victoria Bowling Club with Forth Gala Committee hosting its own event at Forth Sports Centre.
It’s a busy evening in Lanark as the Round Table hosts its annual fireworks display from 7pm and Lanark Amateur Musical Society members enjoy their own Hallowe’en Party in St Mary’s Clubrooms.
Meanwhile down in New Lanark, The Tim Kilphuis Trio will entertain.
