ST John’s Trekkers will be out early doors on Saturday morning for their trip to Culross.

The bus leaves St John’s Church at 9.30am for the six mile walk.

Elsewhere in Clydesdale today, Crossford Playgroup and members of Lanark Rotary Club are holding a charity night this evening.

Local group The Mazdas and a supporting act are back at Crossford Village Hall from 7.30pm to 11pm for what should be a fabulous evening.

And the curtain is coming down on the Carluke-based Shine Youth Music Theatre’s latest production, The Phantom of the Opera.

The show, which is taking place in Motherwell Concert Hall, will have a matinee performance at 2.30pm with the evening show starting at 7.30pm.
