IT may be Mother’s Day but if you are out and about there are a number of events in Clydesdale to keep the whole family entertained.

A Mother’s Day vintage tea party is taking place in Lesmahagow Bowling Club from noon to 3pm.

The event is being held to raise money for 17-year-old Mia Simpson who will soon be embarking on a year long voyage to Malawi where she will be working as a primary teacher.

Over in Biggar, the town’s Sainsbury’s Local have organised a family fun day which takes place in the Gillespie Centre from noon until 4pm.

There will be lots of fun things to do such as bouncy castles, face-painting and craft stalls.

Carluke Gala Committee is also hosting a magic show taking place in the town’s St Athanasius Community Hall from 2pm to 4pm.

Sunday, March 15:
