Heavy metal fans are in for a treat in October as Lanark plays host to two rock tribute bands.
Lanark Agricultural Centre is the venue on October 7 as Live/Wire – a tribute to AC/DC – headline the show with support from Iron Maiden cover Maiden Scotland.
Organiser Alan Douglas said: “After the success of the KISS tribute night a few months ago I decided to do another one and AC/DC immediately came to mind.
“Live/Wire are based in England but they were really pleased to be coming up to Scotland.
“I have seen Maiden Scotland a couple of times before and have been very impressed by them so I was really pleased to get them on the bill.
“Demand for tickets has been phenomenal, with every table in the seating area of the centre selling out in less than a week.”
