UNDERPRIVILEGED children in poorer countries will be helped by the sterling fundraising efforts of pupils at Carluke’s St Athanasius Primary School.

The youngsters raised £1000 for Classrooms in Malawi and £500 each for Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF) and Missio Scotland.

“The total amount of money the school has managed to raise is fantastic,” said St Athanasius Primary head teacher Francis Farrell.
