HEALTHY Valleys had a great turnout at its Spring Health Fayre, held to promote NHS Lanarkshire’s second hand smoke campaign.
The Rigside Health Fayre attracted a big turnout from the community with 51 adults and 77 children going along.
There were nine information stalls in total, with representatives from South Lanarkshire Leisure, Bookbug, Childsmile and Oral Health, Well Connected, Stop Smoking Services, Second Hand Smoke Campaign, Fire Safety Officers and Rigside Playpark Group.
A huge thank you goes to the seven Healthy Valleys volunteers who gave up their time to help organise and support the event; it would not have been a success without them.
Families had a great time while learning about the dangers of second hand smoking.
